Simon

The secondary protagonist in Borderline. Ever since his childhood, he’s been roaming the streets of Moonbright, with no memories of his past or who he was. He’s a renowned thief in the kingdom, being a menace to the police and scaring the locals. He might come across as cold and distant, and very difficult to approach, but don’t let that fool you – he secretly has a heart of gold. Despite his rough upbringing, and his amnesia, he’s only fighting to survive in a tough environment, not knowing what love feels like. He’s afraid of getting attached to anyone, only to hurt them (Perhaps this is a distant, subconscious memory creeping up on him?) 

However, he soon comes face to face with his own fears – someone who forces him out of his comfort zone, whether he likes it or not. During an encounter with the queen’s guards, Kate saves him from an attack and the two run to safety. After some convincing, the two promised to work together: help Kate get home, and get Simon off the kingdom’s hit-list. He may not realize it at first, but Simon grows attached and the two become best friends.
